Where a thriving workplace and a cleaner planet start at the same spot.
AUTODOC is Europe's leading online retailer of car spare parts and accessories. The company was founded in Berlin in 2008. Today, it is active in 27 European countries and employs more than 5,500 people across 13 locations. At AUTODOC, sustainability is not a side project but a strategic priority – firmly anchored in the logic of the business model. Repairing instead of replacing is, at its core, already a contribution to the circular economy.

Two people tell this story from two different perspectives. Anastasiia is Workplace Coordinator at AUTODOC. She thinks in terms of spaces, processes and the little things that make a workplace special. Beril is Sustainability Manager – a lawyer by trade. She thinks in terms of regulatory compliance, long-term impact and the question of how sustainability truly becomes part of the corporate DNA. Both have their own reasons for loving Re:Drink.
Why Re:Drink in summary
Costs significantly reduced compared to the previous multi-provider setup.
30 minutes of maintenance per week – uncomplicated, on your own schedule.
90% of the team satisfied or highly satisfied. 80% feel more energised.
618 plastic bottles saved every month – measurable, reportable, real.
Before Re:Drink — an entire room, just for bottles
Before Re:Drink arrived, AUTODOC’s beverage supply ran on two parallel systems: water fountains for still and sparkling water, plus regular bottled drink orders. The result was high costs, constant coordination, and a logistics problem that quietly took up more and more space.
Moving to a new, larger location presented AUTODOC with a choice: adopt the old system – or do it better. Anastasiia had heard of Re:Drink, visited the showroom – and the decision was quickly made. Bundling everything into one solution was a real turning point. Bottled beverages are still available at AUTODOC, but beverage costs have dropped noticeably since the installation.
With Re:Drink: one place, one solution, one "ElixirHub"
Today, in an office twice the size of the previous one, Re:Drink takes up a small corner in the main kitchen, the social heart of the office: the hub for big meetings, events, and everything in between. Right next to it: the Games Room, where most of the team's social life happens. Re:Drink couldn't stay unnoticed. And it didn't. At first we thought the enthusiasm would fade over time. But people really like it and use it often. As soon as Re:Drink arrived, it quickly became one of the most popular places in the office.
Maintenance, too, turned out to be simpler than expected. Once the team was familiar with the process, servicing the dispenser takes 30–35 minutes per week, handled in-house, on their own schedule, without waiting for technician appointments.
What also helps: no one has to worry about drinks running out unexpectedly. Re:Drink's automated restocking system takes care of that.
Anastasiia's name for her Re:Drink point: Elixir Hub. Her personal favourite: rhubarb – sour, but still sweet, she says.
What the team says – Team Survey, May 2026
In May 2026, we surveyed the AUTODOC team directly. The result shows a team that has truly integrated Re:Drink into their working day.
90% satisfied or highly satisfied
80% feel more refreshed and energised
70% find Re:Drink to be an attractive employee benefit
Two voices from the team that sum it up simply and accurately:
The sustainability perspective – Beril's view
Beril approaches Re:Drink from a completely different direction. "My motivation at work is to work on topics that truly move me – and that create long-term value for the company." As a trained lawyer, she thinks in terms of compliance, long-term impact and the question of how sustainability becomes tangible instead of just remaining an aspiration.
For her, Re:Drink fits into a larger picture. AUTODOC's core business already promotes the circular economy: helping customers repair rather than replace their vehicles reduces waste and extends the lifespan of products. Bringing this logic to the workplace – avoiding single-use bottles, reducing packaging waste – is the logical next step.
What makes Beril's perspective particularly convincing is that she doesn't just speak from enthusiasm. She tracks regulatory developments, keeps compliance requirements in view and evaluates sustainability initiatives against real strategic criteria. When she says that Re:Drink matters, it carries weight.
Since installing Re:Drink at AUTODOC in November 2025, the numbers speak for themselves. 618 fewer plastic bottles every month. A constant, measurable reduction that adds up over time, flows into ESG reporting and becomes something the whole company can be proud of in the internal newsletter. Re:Drink is, as Beril calls it, a visual prompt – a daily reminder that sustainability is not just in reports, but in the small decisions of daily work life.
Beril's wish for Re:Drink in the future? "It would be amazing if, with my first sip, it could teleport me to a beach on the Mediterranean coast." 🏝
Conclusion
At AUTODOC, Re:Drink is more than a beverage solution. It is a building block in a larger whole – of workplace well-being, sustainability strategy and the simple daily pleasure of a good drink. Anastasiia has created a workplace she is proud of. Beril has found a partner that aligns with what she works for every day. And the team has found its Elixir Hub.
Thank you for your time, Anastasiia and Beril 💛
